Scubafish Dive Centre are looking to hire a Sales Assistant to start work on 1st October 2017
Location: Ko Lanta, Krabi
Basic Requirements:
Nationality: Thai National.
Minimum Education Level: High School.
Languages: Thai, English (Chinese is a bonus).
Skills: Computer and iPad basic skills.
Personality: If you're confident, love working with tourists of every nationality and have plenty of stamina – this is the job for you! Other skills that will help you in this career include:
Being a strong team player.
Polite and helpful.
Good with numbers.
Plenty of patience (there'll always be people asking silly questions!).
About Scubafish:
Scubafish is a small, eco-friendly, PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Resort located in Kantiang Bay in the South of Ko Lanta. We have several retail outlets and offer scuba diving training to guests from all around the world. Our style focuses on a high level of relaxed and personal service both above & below the water. We know our guest's holiday time is precious and we want to make sure they get the most out of their time with us!
What's the Role:
One of the main duties is to greet and serve customers with a big smile from the moment they enter the shop. You are expected to advise customers and answer any queries they may have, from stock availability and details of special offers to a product’s price and special features. Because this is an important part of the job, it’s essential for you to understand the products, trips and courses we offer so you can give as much information as possible.
We sometimes have messy customers, and not everything will be put back in its rightful place, so must help keep the shop floor clean and tidy. As well as tidying up, you’ll be restocking goods when they sell out, and ensure they’re attractively displayed.
When new stock gets delivered, it’ll be your responsibility to assist accepting the deliveries. This can involve helping take products off a supplier’s truck and making sure all items that were ordered, got delivered.

Working hours:
Period of Employment: 1st October 2017 - 30th April 2018 (6 months) with a trial period of 1 week. There may be an opportunity to extend for the right candidate.
08:00 - 18:00 with 1 hour for lunch (pls arrange to take lunch a different time to other staff, so the shop can stay open)
1 day off per week + 1 week's paid holiday

9,000 - 15,000 THB per month + Sales Commission - depending on experience.
